Just a wee note to thank you very much for the brilliant job you did entertaining the masses at my son's recent birthday.

Once the word got out that "Harry the Clown" was coming I couldn't keep them away. I have never had so many Mums & Dads turn up & stay. How am I going to cope for his next birthday, anything else I'm sure will be an anti-climax. Be sure to know that I will be spreading the good word any chance I get.

I have hired Gary Gray as Harry the Clown on two separate occasions. One occasion was at a private party for a one-year-olds birtday. This required working in a confined space and playing to a very varied audience. He managed admirably, dealing with excite children and rowdy adults easily. He was prompt at starting but flexible when required and all of the audience both paricipated and enjoyed his performance.

The second occasion was for a school Gala, we communicated through email and he was once again prompt and efficient. Due to the scale of the operation on this occasion, he was required to start a little later than booked, but this was no problem. His performance was once again entertaining to all ages. At the completion of his show he worked his way through the crowds making balloon animals for a gold coin donation to the school. We felt that Harry helped create a fun and happy atmosphere at the Gala.

Ngahina Kindergarten.
We recommend "Harry the Clown" as very suitable for kindergarten live entertainment, with his magic tricks, a rabbit, and his puppet "dazzle Duck". His really simple humour delighted the children and teachers. He incorporated numeracy in the show to fit with the kindergarten's programme.
We were especially impressed with his sensitive approach to the very young afternoon children. He applied his clown make-up in front of them so they could see he was a person. He gave them red dot noses which made them part of the show.
He began with some very nervous children, but by the end of the show they were up the front talking to him and stroking the rabbit.

Discovery Kindergarten

The Teachers at Discovery Kinergarten recomennend "Harry the Clown" for entertaining purposes for pre-school children. Gary came to both the morning and afternoon sessions, catering for 3-5 years of age. Gary spoke to the Teachers before his show started stating he could work his show around particular focus - "Playing as good Friends".
We had positive feedback about the show from the children and parents/whanau who were watching.

"I like Harry the Clown making the balloons".
"I like the rabbit".
"I like the magic tricks".
"Harry the Clown is cool".
"I like the bird".
"I like helping Harry".

It was excellent that Gary recommended he put his make-up on in front of the younger children. This was certainly something that the Teachers, parents/whanau thought was a good idea, as it allowed the children to see that "Harry" is a "real person".
The Teachers at Discovery Kindergarten would certainly love to have another visit from "Harry the Clown"

Palmerston North City Library employed him to perform two shows as part of our July school holiday programme.
